Banarasi Chaat in Hoskote: What to Try at Chaat Bae
Crisp and tangy, cool and creamy, or warm and filling? Find a plate for your kind of chaat break.

The flavour of Banaras, closer to home
A good chaat break starts with a simple question: do you want something crisp and tangy, cool and creamy, or warm and filling? At Chaat Bae in Hoskote, our menu gives you room for all three. This guide helps you choose a first plate, add something hearty if you are hungry, and plan a visit to our MV Extension outlet.
Our inspiration comes from Banaras, also known as Varanasi. For us, that means the contrast in a mouthful: crisp puri or papdi, tangy chutneys, warming spices and, in some dishes, cooling curd. You do not need to know every chaat name to enjoy the menu. Start with the texture you like, then explore from there.

Gol Gappa: for a crisp, tangy bite
Our Gol Gappa brings together crisp puris, a savoury filling and tangy paani. If you know this snack as pani puri, this is the part of the menu to explore. Gol Gappe Suji is also listed. Ask us about the two options when you order.
Bhalla Papdi Chaat: for soft and crunchy together
Soft bhalla and crisp papdi meet curd and chutneys in this plate. It is a useful starting point if you enjoy contrasting textures and a sweet, tangy finish. Dahi Bada is another option if you prefer soft lentil badas with creamy curd.
Ghee Tikki Chaat: for a richer potato favourite
Golden potato tikki, curd, chutneys and chaat masala come together with the richness of ghee. Samosa Chaat offers a different base: crisp samosa layered with curd, chutneys and chaat masala.
Bhelpuri or Sev Puri: for a crunchy chaat break
Bhelpuri combines puffed rice, crunchy ingredients and chutneys. Sev Puri starts with crisp puris and finishes with sev. These are two different ways to follow a crunchy craving; choose the texture you prefer rather than ordering several similar plates at once.
A quick way to decide

When you want something more filling
A chaat craving can turn into a meal. Our Pav Bhaji pairs spiced mashed vegetable bhaji with buttery pav. Ghee Aloo Paratha is a potato-stuffed paratha cooked with ghee. Chole Bhature and Puri Sabji are also part of the menu.
For a drink, explore Banarasi Lassi or our chai options. Thandhai and Mishrambhoo are on-request items, so contact us about availability rather than planning your visit around them without checking.
